WHERE TO STAY:

During our visit to Slovenia, we stayed in the city of Ljubjana. Ljubjana, is a small, charming  city with lots of character. We chose an airbnb in the city center and were within walking distance to all of the main attractions. You can walk the entire city center in about an hour so, you do not need a lot of time here. But, if you’re making a trip to Slovenia, Ljubjana is definitely worth the stop. We also enjoyed a day trip to Lake Bled and Lake Bohinj. Both lakes are very scenic, relaxing, and well worth the trip. It was very easy to rent a car and drive out to these quaint towns for the day, it would be a shame to miss them if you are in the area!
