We were in Switzerland for a short weekend during our summer in Amsterdam and chose to stay in the town of Chexbres. I wish we would have been able to spend more time in this beautiful country- pictures will never be able to due it any justice. We chose to stay at a resort and spa located up in the mountains which essentially had everything that we needed for our short vacation. The resort was pretty secluded from other points of interest, but so lovely (definitely one of our favorites). Because the hotel had two fantastic restaurants, we didn’t venture out much to check out other options in the area. So, unfortunately, I do not have many recommendations to provide but if visiting Chexbres, Switzerland there are two things you MUST do:
1). STAY AT LE MIRADOR RESORT & SPA -(I will never be able to put in words how beautiful this hotel is. Everything about it was spectacular- the rooms, the view, the dining, & the staff were all so great! This is an ideal location for a romantic getaway or honeymoon)!
2). VISIT DOMAINE BOVY VINEYARD –(beautiful vineyard run by two families. We sat here for HOURS one afternoon. They have a terrace with spectacular views, a fun atmosphere with music, great wine, and all around wonderful people)
